Our
Studios
Our world-class recording studios are located at Funkhaus Berlin. They were built from 1951-56 to meet the highest standard in audio production.
Within these hallowed halls, we foster collaborations between our team and artists and engineers from Berlin’s extraordinary creative community.
The space consists of two multi-room studio environments known as P4 and K2. Each has its own unique creative atmosphere and utility. Combined, they allow us to tackle nearly any musical scenario.
STUDIO
P4
P4
Control
P4 is our headquarters where we compose and record orchestral instruments, jazz, world music and singers.
The control room has an inspiring collection of synths, vintage guitars and tape machines.
P4
Lounge
The lounge contains a kitchen, hot-desk and a collection of vinyl records. It’s connected to the control room for use as an additional isolated recording space.
P4
Recording
With its sublime acoustic, the recording room houses our collection of pianos, strings, brass, woodwinds, keyboards, percussion and folk instruments, and a locker of high-end vintage microphones.
P4 is a luxurious and cozy environment for writing, listening and relaxing. It’s ideal for soundtrack recording, productions with a vintage aesthetic and longer writing projects.
STUDIO
K2
K2
Mixing/Mastering
K2 is our production studio where we record live bands, host presentations and collaborate with our in-house community of writers, performers and sound designers.
The light-filled control room has an outstanding acoustic ideal for mixing, broadcast mastering and presentations.
Audio, video and data can be sent to and from the 3 isolated recording rooms, enabling a staggering array of production scenarios.
K2
Recording
The central recording room has a powerful, precise acoustic ideal for drums, large ensembles, sound design and voice recording. It is connected to the left and right rooms for larger live recordings requiring separation.
K2
Composing
The left room is a standalone composing suite with a large collection of guitars and keyboards. It connects directly to the middle room for isolated artist recording.
K2
Sound Design
The right studio is ideal for sound design and contains a 5.1 surround mixing system. It connects directly to the middle room for isolated foley and ADR recording.
